Open Water Certification SSI
This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater.
This is a 3-part certification.
Part 1 is on-line training that you can do at your own pace wherever you may have an internet connection.
Part 2 is Confined Water Training held here at Deep Blue Divers in our indoor pools.
Part 3 is your Open Water Check-out dives.
After completing these 3 sections, you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver Certification.

For the SSI Open Water Diver class, the price includes; online training, pool entry, equipment use while in calss for Confined Water and the Instructor fees for the Confined Water pool sessions, and Open Water Check-out Dive sessions at Gilboa Quarry.
Not included in the course price;
Each student is required to have their own mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and an SMB. (cost estimate $450.00-$550.00)
$70 rental fee for the equipment that you take to the quarry (Wetsuit, BCD, regulator, etc).
$40 fee entry fee (per day) for Gilboa Quarry.
If you cannot make the open water sessions the time we go If you would like to finish your Open Water Training at a destination of your choosing, or if you have a trip coming up, you can finish your Open Water training there as a referral diver. A referral diver is someone who does the on-line training (at home) and the Confined Water training here at Deep Blue Divers. The price for this is $395.
